Ania Gewald-Wilke bio: With 13 years of business analysis experience on various platforms, Ania is currently the Principal Applications & Processes Analyst at Adtran. Alexey Andrianov bio: Alexey has an impressive 25 years of experience in the IT industry. For the past 13 years, he has been a valuable member of the Global Application Development Team at Adtran, specializing in Polarion ALM. As an experienced consultant, Alexey has gained extensive knowledge of Polarion, knowing all the ins and outs of the system. He has also made significant contributions to the development of several Polarion extensions, including the Interceptor Framework, which have been published on the Polarion Extension Portal. He started working with Polarion at its introduction at ADVA 13 years ago, primarily focusing on requirements management for ADVA. Since then, to a large extent driven by Alexey, Polarion has become widely used worldwide, operating around the clock across various ADVA and now ADTRAN sites.
Abstract: We would like to share our experience and insights on implementing a Time Assignment solution in Polarion. We developed a complex structure of work items and integrated Polarion with several central business applications, including SAP, Salesforce, Agile PLM, and Workday. By automating data synchronization and creating a customized user-friendly Time Sheet Editor, we have streamlined the time assignment process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Abstract: ReqIF roundtrip in the supply chain for shared documents between OEM, Tier1, and Tier2 stays the biggest challenge when using different RM tools and addons by the stakeholders. Not only the formatting issues but also loss of information may be a consequence of an unsuccessful roundtrip process. Based on continuous Lessons Learned a major focus is necessary on the set-up of each new customer project for smooth exchange of the development documentation.
