Polarion Software achieves record growth with strong sales
Polarion Software, a leader in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Requirements Management (RM) and a disruptive force in the software marketplace achieved record growth for its ALM business. The Company realized a 45% increase in sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 over the second quarter of fiscal 2009. This was driven by strong sales across all product lines and geographies as well as new customer acquisitions.

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Tasktop Technologies. Polarion Pop Challenge - Autumn 2010
 What would your boss say if you handed over $10,000 worth of Polarion licenses? Would you get to keep the spiffy new Apple iPad that goes with it?"
Sound familiar? It's the same question we asked when we announced our first Polarion POP Challenge. Sebastian Bejga, one of the winners of POP Challenge #1 not only got to keep the iPad, but made a splash felt throughout his company: 
"It was hard to believe at first time, because my extension was at first just a sandbox to play around with the API while writing my student assignment. It was a real thrill to be chosen as one of the winners. Furthermore it was an invocation to participate in more events like this."
That competition resulted in some super Polarion extensions that have benefited the entire community... and we would like to do more than just say "thanks", so we're running a second Pop Challenge competition! Again this year, we're offering a grand prize of $10,000 in Polarion licenses and a new Apple iPad.
This time we are especially looking for 2 main kinds of extensions:
- Polarion project templates supporting different project management methodologies & processes: RUP, XP, Waterall, etc.
- Various artifacts: support tickets, HW Test Cases, etc.
But there is also an Open Challenge for any kind of extension.
